What are your strategies for keeping yourself strong, focused and committed in you walk with God?

We apoplogize for the downtime of adventfellowship.net over the past day. The site uderwent a hacking attempt. But as any good administrator knows JESUS SAVES and so do we. So we restored the site to its previous working condition and we are updating our secrity measures to ensure this doesnt happen again. Thanks to lamorena for the heads up to admin - for that we will give you 10 adfel points

As a first year or a seasoned Adfeller (c), are there any things you would like to see improved or done differently in Advent Fellowship? I encourage blunt, frank yet respectful answers. These improvements or changes can range from the Friday night's program to the events Adfel puts on.

This thread is to encourage discussion about preparation for our Blue Mountain Hike from Ocotber 17-19, 2008. So those who have been there can give us tips on what to wear, what not to wear, what to carry, how to prepare etc. Those who havent been can share their fears, concerns and questions. Also, if anyone has any pics to share that would be great too. So lets start sharing, preparaing and setting the atmosphere for a heavenly experience on the mountain top.

But Do we steal when we copy music, software and even commit plagiarism.
Is it sin? If so, can we go to hell when we do these things?

This forum is for those like me who love reading a great inspirational forward, but hate that guilt of that impending final sentence. "Share this 20 (or 10) persons or you will die...or not make money...or never fall in love".

Wats r the veiws on april fool's day? im an internet junkie so while browsing another site dis morning i saw the guys fooling some ppl by telling them "little white lies" to try and trick them. Is this an ok practice for Christians? or is is ok jus for today to tell those "little white lies" jus for the fun of trying to trick someone?
